PART 1, TRADES, REQUESTS, COMMISSIONS

DRAW MY FOXNEKO WARRIOR CHARACTER!!
NO! I don't work for you! and that's not me being selfish!
drawing takes time and I'll only draw what I WANT TO draw!
why should I agree to just draw you anything?!

Do you do commissions?
No, not at the moment.
and don't ask me when I'll open a commission slot, 'cus right now I don't know.
I'll advertise brightly when I do, though, so you won't miss it.

Trades, then?
no, not unless you're my friend. and only if I have the time, of course.
I'll only trade with you if I know you're going put some work into your part!


PART 2, ARTWORK

what programs do you use to color?
I use PhotoshopCS2 only. I'll buy opencanvas sometime, but at the moment, Photoshop is all I use.

and how do you outline?
By hand! I use a pencil, most preferable an art pencil, size F or H.
why?, well 'cus I suck at cging lines.

do you use a scanner and a tablet? what kind?
yep, I do!
I use a small 40mA wacom tablet, whcih due to it's small size is my great love at the moment. and I use a neat little Canon scanner with high resolution options.

what references or art tutorials do you use/recommend?
I use my own body to figure out poses, mainly, and I don't like using references.
in my opinion, tutorials shouldn't be copied. it's just for understanding how various artists work!

where did you get your inspiration for your characters (Shawn)?
haha. er, I just thought to myself "I would really like to manipulate a cute little boy with less brains than I have. and I also like pink", and then Shawn was born.
I don't really spend a lot of time on my characters, I just make them up as I go along mainly. (:

when did you start drawing? how did you learn to draw? have you taken an art school?
I've drawn my whole life! I've always loved cartoons, and I got hooked on the Powerpuff Girls, and Lenore very early. I found Anime and Manga through a friend, and since I started experimenting with it, I've never really gotten out of it's pattern.
I've never attended an art school, and as a matter of facts, I'm still in Junior high!

favorite music/book/actor/color/holiday?
music: right now I'm into The Wombats, Regina Spektor, Kate Nash and The clash.
book: I love Phillip Pullman's books, and everything Darren Shan writes. also, Dan Brown is a genius.
actor: Johnny Depp. finito.
color: I'm really fond of pastels. peach <3
holliday: Halloween, winter break and Christmas, definitely.

what do you want to be when you grow up? an artist?
my dream is to become an illustrator sometime. art? yes of course!
